Freddie Freeman Made Braves History Wednesday With Ridiculous Home Run

Freddie Freeman hits bombs.

He also, apparently, does literally everything else.

And that’s the kind of production that allows you to set records we never saw coming.

Freeman launched a 420-foot dinger in Atlanta’s Wednesday night contest with the Nationals. Fairly remarkable.

But things get more intriguing when you check…oh, 11 or so at bats prior.

Yup. That right there’s a team record for consecutive plate appearances reaching base in some capacity.

Need a breakdown? We’ve got you covered.

DIngers, walks, doubles, and bombs. That’s what Freddie Freeman does.

With SunTrust Park feeling like a bit of a bandbox in the early going, against all odds, I’m sure this isn’t the final time we’ll see Freeman cap an historic streak by launching something to the stratosphere.
