BREAKING: Yoenis Cespedes Expected to Miss Time With Hamstring Injury

On Thursday night, Mets star left fielder Yoenis Cespedes left the team’s game against the Phillies with what was announced as a hamstring cramp.

However, it doesn’t look like things are so simple.

Following the action, Cespedes spoke with reporters and made it clear he’s not dealing with just cramps.

This hurts the Mets, because they’re scheduled to begin a three-game series with the Nationals tomorrow. However, it looks like Cespedes will be unavailable at least for this upcoming series.

He’ll have an MRI tomorrow morning, where he’s hoping no major damage is revealed. If Cespedes is able to return after missing 2-3 days of action, the Mets would certainly take it.

Hopefully he can get back on the field ASAP.
